Mental Illness Investigated

A new curriculum for 14 – 17 year olds.

How ready are you to help your students talk about mental health?

The six lessons reduce the stigma around mental illness and help young people become more attentive to their own and other people’s mental health.

Included with the curriculum is a one-day training course for adults to build your own knowledge, skills and confidence before teaching the lessons.

What does the curriculum and training include?

  • A one-day training course to enable you to deliver the curriculum
  • Six ready to use materials for each lesson
  • Topics covered include self-harm, depression, anxiety and eating disorders
  • Each lesson is practical and immediately relevant
  • Leave the course informed and prepared to support your students

Who is this training for?

Staff in any school or youth setting with students in Years 9 to 11.

“Self-harm is an area in which I’ve had very little experience. The insights you shared have made me feel more confident in how to respond appropriately and effectively.”

“The resources are self-contained with everything I need.”

“I now have a good understanding of mental illness, including the role of the brain and triggers for young people.”
